Supernatural Increase

These principles help believers take what God gives them and translate it into sustained growth, fruitfulness, and supernatural increase. God pours things into your spirit—vision, direction, anointing, ideas. Without wisdom, those things “run off your hands” like water. Wisdom acts as the bucket that catches, carries, and applies what God pours out. Many people feel God’s presence but return to “life as usual” because they have no system to contain what God is doing. When water is poured on open hands, you feel it temporarily. When water is poured into a bucket, it is useful, retainable, and applicable. Wisdom is the bucket. Feelings fade. Wisdom applies.

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Many lose what God gives. They feel God … but don’t apply God. They sense direction … but don’t build systems around that direction. The vision God gives us requires steps of action. Many don’t take those steps because they want to hear more instructions, or see a map outline to their goal, but faith doesn’t work like that. When we start walking, God then tells you where and what to do, but we must walk by faith.

DO NOT DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS

Zechariah 4:8–10 (NLT) “…Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…”

God rejoices in beginnings—even when they look small. The world celebrates instant success; God celebrates foundations. Ministries, businesses, and assignments rarely begin large. When the early excitement wears off, many people quit. The lord rejoices to see it begin, so begin now, don’t wait till New Year like many people do.

Refuse discouragement – John 14:16-17: “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper (Parakletos), to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth… for he dwells with you and will be in you”. Parakletos: This Greek word means one called alongside to help, comfort, and encourage, making it His nature to uplift believers. When you face discouragement in what God has called you to do, you can be certain that is the enemy trying to stop your progress.

Refuse comparison – 2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. Comparison opens the door to covetousness so it can become a bigger problem. Never compare yourself to another person.

Refuse false timelines -Humans are addicted to instant gratification, like little children. Success doesn’t happen overnight. It happens with small consistent steps toward your assignment. Even when nobody is watching, buying, or moving, keep pushing and do it unto the Lord.

• Reinhard Bonnke speaking to small groups before he ever preached to a million.
• TD Jakes preaching under an 8-foot ceiling, recording sermons on cassette tapes, and flipping tapes mid-sermon.

What small beginning are you currently in?

Many people quit early for many reasons. The emotional high wears off. Early results don’t match expectations. They misinterpret slow response as failure instead of foundation. Big things begin with small, faithful steps. Many quit when the initial zeal fades. Faithfulness in the early stages is what leads to breakthrough later.

Luke 16:10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

WALK THROUGH NEW DOORS WITH GOD’S PROVISION

God never expects you to walk through your new door of promotion with yesterday’s provision. When God opens a door, He supplies what you lack after you obey. Provision is often found on the battlefield (2 Chronicles 20) its on the land that God is telling you to go aquire. If you want a land flowing with milk and honey, you have to go after it. Don’t despise small beginning, but also, don’t stay in small beginnings. When God opens a door for you, walk through it while it’s open. Don’t be afraid to walk through it because you lack equipment. Never reject an open door unless the Lord checks your spirit and tells you not to.

When God opens a door → walk through it, THEN provision comes. Giving works the same way. We don’t give until we have something. We give first, then we receive. Provision doesn’t just show up because you’re saved, it’s a result of obedience. It comes to all who support the work of God.

Philippians 4 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

• T.D. Jakes saying “yes” to TBN before he had equipment.
• Opportunities come before resources.
• Increased responsibility brings increased divine supply.

Discussion Question: Have you ever hesitated to step through an open door because you felt unprepared or lacked resources?

SYSTEMS, NOT GOALS

Luke 8:1–3 – Women who supported Jesus’ ministry as He consistently traveled and preached.
This demonstrates a system, not a sporadic event.

Goals are wishes; systems create results. Systems = daily actions that lead to increase. You can’t reach a goal without a system, and you can’t maintain success without one. Example: Ministry systems (broadcasting daily, prayer, teaching, outreach) create constant growth. Most people set goals with no pathway. They dream, but never build. Joseph built a system to sustain Egypt Genesis 41. Noah began building an ark for years with no sign of rain.

Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty (take shortcuts), surely to poverty.

Daily System Examples.

• An ebay seller posting daily.
• An evangelist preaching weekly & broadcasting online.
• Someone wanting to lose weight establishing daily routines rather than resolutions.

What has been the danger of relying only on goals instead of systems?

SYSTEMS KEEP YOU FOCUSED & PROTECT YOUR SCHEDULE

Running around is not the same as producing. Productivity is more important than activity. Systems prevent distraction, over commitment, and waste. Saying “yes” to everything can destroy your calling. You must protect what God has assigned to you.

Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

When you make a plan and start walking that way, God will direct your steps. Go and these signs will follow. Gods supernatural power goes with the goers, it doesn’t sit with the sitters.

DON’T BUILD OTHER PEOPLE’S THINGS—BUILD YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Galatians 6:4–5 – Each believer must carry their own load and take pride in their own work.

God will judge you on your assignment, not someone else’s. Helping Is Good — But Don’t Get Distracted. You can support others (10%). But the bulk of your energy should be on what God called YOU to build (90%). You will stand before God for what you were assigned to build, not what others built. You can help others—but give most of your time, energy, and resources to the work God gave you. Stay focused on your calling. Not every request is your responsibility. Not every opportunity is your assignment. Not every need is your calling.

Revelation 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

CONCLUSION

• God pours things into you during prayer, worship, and seasons of anointing.
• Wisdom is what allows you to carry it.
• Small beginnings are normal for God’s people.
• Open doors require faith to walk through without fully seeing provision.
